For best results, we suggest the following:
-
✓ Heating oil to 140º (max 180º ) decreases viscosity, enhances cleaning.

✓ Oil filtered to 100 microns before centrifuge filtering, requires 3 - 4 passes
-
with the centrifuge to reduce contaminants in oil to <1 micron.

✓ Oil filtered to 5 microns before centrifuge filtering, requires 2 passes with
-
the centrifuge to reduce contaminants in oil to <1 micron.

✓ During filtering, solid contaminants are spun into an outer bowl which is
-
easily cleaned by taking it apart and scraping out the waste. It takes about
-
20 minutes after filtering for the rotor to cool off enough for cleaning.

✓ Four (4) bolts attach the “L” mounting bracket to the centrifuge with a
-
gasket in between. Clean oil exits through a 1” internal thread. Never use
-
less than a 1” drain line!
